What does a full bathroom renovation include?

A full renovation typically includes demolition, waste disposal, plumbing and electrical updates, tiling, installation of sanitary ware, shower screen, furniture, and final painting.

Do you work with your own staff or subcontractors?

We employ our own builders, plumbers, and electricians. This allows us to better coordinate the work, meet deadlines, and maintain direct control over the quality of the project.

Is it necessary to apply for building permits to renovate a bathroom in Barcelona?

In most bathroom renovations, you must notify the City Council using the appropriate procedure. We handle advising the client and managing the required documentation.

How long will the bathroom be out of service?

Usually between 5 and 7 working days, depending on the complexity of the project and whether existing installations need modifications.

Do you handle small bathroom renovations?

Yes. We have renovated many small bathrooms in Barcelona, maximizing space through ultra-flat shower trays, wall-hung furniture, and custom storage solutions.

Do you offer a warranty on the renovation?

Yes. All our renovations come with the corresponding legal warranty for both workmanship and materials supplied.

Resolving Common Issues: Does your bathroom have any of these problems?

Old bathrooms with iron or lead pipes

Older buildings in Barcelona often suffer from low water pressure, recurring clogs, or rusty water. In our full renovations, we completely replace outdated plumbing with modern **cross-linked polyethylene (Wirsbo)** or copper pipes, ensuring optimal water flow, absolute hygiene, and zero leaks for decades.

Lack of storage space

Maximizing square footage is our expertise. We solve storage shortages by installing **wall-hung bathroom vanities with organizing drawers**, built-in shower niches, and compact toilets. We create useful space where it seems impossible without cluttering the room visually.

Hard-to-access bathtubs (Lack of accessibility)

High bathtubs are uncomfortable and present a slipping hazard. We handle **converting your bathtub into a walk-in, slip-resistant resin shower tray (Class 3)** flush with the floor. It is a quick and clean process that dramatically improves safety, daily comfort, and adds visual space.

Dampness, mold, and damaged or loose tiles

Inadequate ventilation in bathrooms leads to mold growth and ruins old tile adhesive. We fix this by fully treating the walls, applying waterproofing layers before tiling, and installing **silent timer-controlled extractor fans** to eliminate condensation at its source.

Outdated and dangerous electrical installations

Older bathrooms often lack proper grounding or fail to meet legal safety distances between water and electricity. We update the wiring and install waterproof fixtures compliant with current **REBT electrical regulations**, adding energy-efficient recessed LED ceiling lights in a completely safe manner.
